The Lord spoke these words to Jerry: "It is hard for you because you make it so." We understand that we have been called to follow Him and to work together with the rest of the Body of Christ. We realize that Jesus doesn’t need anyone to lead for Him; the process of dying to self continues. In John 12:24 Jesus said: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit." As we, the Church, die to ourselves—as ministers die to their leadership desires—as we lower our denominational barriers and yield to the Lordship of God—as we devote ourselves to and obey the teachings of God—as we love others unconditionally as Christ loves us—as we humble ourselves and pray and seek God’s face and turn from our wicked ways, He will hear from heaven and will forgive our sin and heal our land. Then we will see deep, lasting revival and the Lord will add new believers to the Church daily.
Please consider the immense wisdom of God in John 2:24: "But Jesus did not commit Himself unto them, because He knew all men, and needed not that any should testify of man: for He knew what was in man." We are not able to fool Jesus; we are capable of fooling ourselves. God is the only one that knows the wickedness of our hearts. Through belief in Jesus and the power of His shed blood and resurrection from the dead, we can overcome sin and pride and become holy as He and the Father are holy; but the only way is His way. Jesus said in John 8:12: "…I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
Jesus prayed to the Father: "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word; that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in Us: that the world may believe that Thou hast sent Me. And the glory which thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are one: I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me. Father, I will that they also, whom Thou hast given Me, be with Me where I am; that they may behold My glory, which Thou hast given Me: for Thou lovedst Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known Thee: but I have known Thee, and these have known that Thou hast sent Me. And I have declared unto them Thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith Thou hast loved Me may be in them, and I in them" (John 17:20-26).

if we have the inspiration of the vision of God,
we have more than we can experience." Oswald Chambers
