SPIRITUAL WARFARE
 "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled" (2 Corinthians 10:3-6).
Watchmen on the Wall
As Jerry was meditating on God’s word, he was reminded of what a dear pastor friend said to him: "It is your responsibility to give the messages you receive to the Church, the Body of Christ." He was led to Ezekiel 33: 7-9: "So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at My mouth, and warn them from Me. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul."
Ezekiel was a watchman for the people; time has not altered the war against God’s chosen ones. We read in Ephesians 6:12: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." God’s perfectly designed Body has strategically placed parts, but many congregations are not aware of or are not listening to the watchmen. If we lack watchmen on the walls of our congregations and cities, are we blind to the powers of the unseen world? Who is watching and praying?
