MESSAGES FROM GOD
Jesus said to His followers, "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come. He shall glorify Me: for He shall receive of Mine, and shall show it unto you. All things that the Father hath are Mine: therefore said I, that He shall take of Mine, and shall show it unto you" (John 16:12-15).
In the power of the Holy Spirit the apostle John said, "And I fell at His feet to worship Him. And He said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy" (Revelation 19:10).
The writings in this category are called messages. They have been received during daily times of prayerful listening to the Holy Spirit. They are not meant to replace, add to or supersede God’s Word; we do not believe they oppose the Word of God in any way. The messages are written from a heart in love with Jesus Christ, reflecting intimate fellowship with God. They are shared openly to encourage each individual to have a personal love relationship with God.
We invite you to read these messages, but more importantly we invite you to call unto God and listen to His Holy Spirit. "Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not" (Jeremiah 33:3).
Reminders
The mercy of our Lord is evident in the messages He is speaking through those with the prophetic gift by the many different ways He reminds us of the sin in our lives. His love shows through His words, continually calling us to repent and receive the fullness He has for us all. Time and time again God pours out His love through His words that compliment the truth of Scripture. Some have said that the messages that Jerry receives are too simple, repetitious, and without substance, but they all lead to Jesus.
In Isaiah 28:9-15a we read: "Whom shall he (the prophet) teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid
ourselves:…"
May the blessings of God's peace rest upon you as you ponder in your heart and mind what the Holy Spirit is saying to His Church.
